Currency exchange

In Quebec currency can be exchanged at banks which will normally be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday, and the hours can confirmed by calling. The currency that is used through Quebec is the Canadian dollar which is divided in cent units called cents. There are coins for un, cinq, dix, and vingt-cinq cents as well as for $1 and $2. There are bills for $5, $10, $20, $50, and $100. At some places such as stores will check $20, $50, and $100 bills to make sure that they are not fake. In many places you are able to use credit and debit cards. And if needed we can use an ATM in order to get money then trying to exchange it at a bank which is only open for such a short period of time. What we found interesting about the currency is that it comes in different colors, and those colors would be red, purple, blue, green, or brown. And the colors depend on the denomination. Also $1 in Canada is about 97 cents from the American dollar
